During our Shakespeare workshop you practised and performed the meeting of King Oberon and Queen Titania. Turn the script below into a story describing their meeting.
Please include:

  • Full sentences.
  • Description using adjectives and adverbs of the setting and of the character’s actions.
  • Speech between the characters.
  • Fronted adverbials


[Enter OBERON, the King of Fairies, at one side with his train, and TITANIA, the Queen, at the other, with hers]

OBERON: Ill met by moonlight, proud Titania.
TITANIA: What, jealous Oberon?—Fairies, skip hence
OBERON: Am I not thy lord?
TITANIA: Then I must be thy lady.
OBERON: Give me that boy!
TITANIA: Not for thy fairy kingdom.—Fairies, away!
