  4. Transportation means travelling from one place to another or we can say movement from one place to another. In today's world we have 3 ways to travel by air ( aeroplanes ), by sea ( ships and boats ) and by roads ( cars, trains, cycle, buses, motorbikes, walking )
Whereas in ancient egyption times they used to walk or travel by boats.
Communication means exchange of information between two or more people. In today's world we have many ways to communicate by phone (voice calls, vedio calls, messages ) by talking face to face, by electronics like computers, laptops and I pads (emailing , Facebook, Twitter ) . We can also communicate by posts and by advertising like in magazines, newspapers, posters,
Whereas in ancient egyption times they used to communicate either by face to face talks or by hieroglyphs. There was a special type of stone called rosseta which had three different languages Roman. Greek and Hieroglyphs. They could read roman and Greek which gave them key to understand hieroglyphs.
This shows that in today's modern world we have many many more options for transportation and communication as compared to those in ancient egyption times,.

  5. Transport
Transport is a thing that can take you from one place to another. If you don't have transport people will have to walk and they will get tired. People in the olden days had small cars that only go 10 miles an hour. Our cars go way faster. It was really a bad time. There are a lot types of transport. There are cars bus, lorry, fire truck, police car, ambulance, motor cycles, boat submarines.

    Communication
You can communicate by writing to each other. These days there are mobiles phones which you can use. It is so easy writing letters but wastes a lot of trees because that is where paper comes from. So we don't need to waste trees when we have now mobile phones. These days there are emails, text messages which you can communicate with others.
