This week we have been starting a new
unit about adventure stories. We have learnt an extract from Harry Potter
called Harry Potter and the Mountain Troll.
For your homework this week, we would like you to write a description of
the mountain troll on the blog. Use the information from the text that we have
learnt and add your own detail (use your imagination).
Minimum 100 words.
Spellings (20mins):
These should be practised for a short
time each day, using the words given in sentences.
You need to:
• look at each word
• say the word
• copy the word in first space
• cover the words and try to write it
from memory
• check to see if they are right

Once upon a time there was troll called Jack and a special secret school. There were some special people could Arush, Adam, Henry, John, Nikola, Megan and Shilo those are the special people which can do some good special things. Arush, Adam, Henry, John, Nikola, Megan and Shilo were making a bad loud noise which had woken up the troll. The troll was so angry that it went to kill the kids. The special kids took the swords and fought with the dangerous troll. The kids were very scared. The kids frightened the troll from the magic sleep spell. They throw the swords at the troll and killed him. After a few months later it was fine and they were all happy that the troll was no longer around! THE END!

The Mountain troll
ReplyDeleteThe Mountain Troll has a round boulder like head with one ugly green eye placed in the middle of his head. He has dull, rough, rocky skin that could camouflage him quite well amongst rocks which makes it easier for him to hunt; he would hide, then surprise his prey and eat it.
The mountain troll is quite fat and wears a small leather jacket. He has fat arms with long fingers tipped with a spike.
He has fat legs with brown rocks on his legs that make him look tough. The toes on his feet are stuck together.
He has a tall, thin, wooden club that he uses as a weapon to attack enemies and prey.

Appearance:
The mountain troll has pale grey skin with the spikiest thorns on it. The troll stinks so much that you can't even go close to it! The huge mountain troll is 12 feet tall and it almost weighs over a ton!!!
Magical Abilities:
The troll also has black and grey whiskers like cats and the trolls have a magical power in the whiskers to make them run fast to catch their prey easier. The mountain trolls also have a power in their eyes to freeze people. Whenever someone looks into the eyes of the mountain troll, they freeze.
Habitats:
The mountain trolls live in high mountain areas where it is very cold. That's why they are called ' mountain trolls'. For example; there are loads and loads of mountain trolls at Mount Everest. There are over 2000,000 mountain trolls in the whole wide world!!!

ReplyDeleteThe mountain troll is massive and it's skin is olive green. The stench is enough to rip skin off a human man. It's skin is rough and scaly and is similar to that of a crocodile. The troll lumbers around swinging it's club which is the height of an eight year-old child (4 feet). The troll is 9.9 feet (3 meters) tall. The troll has black spikes on it's legs', wears brown shorts and a brown waistcoat. The troll's fingernails and toenails haven't been cut and they curve over like a witches' nail. The troll's feet are big, heavy and weigh 3 kilograms each.

ReplyDeleteThe mountain troll has had that has blisters on them. He has big noises. He is 20meters tall. The mountain troll eats things that calls it names and throws things a him. The mountain troll lives in caves with other trolls. They also live in dungeons. The mountain troll likes to play dogde ball but with rocks and tree trunks. The mountain troll can talk and also sing. It can do gymnastics and it can drive. The mountain troll can transform into anything it wants to.

The mountain troll had grey skin and a leather jacket covering his bulging stomach.
The troll had a mean personality as he couldn't speak but he smashed everything. His face was wrinkly and he had a frowning face. He had big ears and his bushy, large eyebrows made his eyes look small.
The troll was hurt as Ron threw a tap at him. As he has no voice become not scream but he got even more angry and started smashing everything around him.
The mountain troll is a breed of the troll. They are the largest and weighing over a tonne. The trolls head is very big. His ears point out and his eyes are really wide. On the mouth hi has big teeth and he looks like a very angry troll.The Mountain troll spikes look like books in mud. His legs are very massive with two fingers toes.The troll hands are big with some claws. He has a club in his hand. The troll stomach looks like a beach ball.

ReplyDeleteA mountain troll is a huge troll holding a log with spikes on it.It is about 12 feet tall and weighing over a tonne about 100 kg.Also it lives in a mountain.It means they originally come from mountainious areas.They are carnivores but they only eat animals instead of human flesh.
Imagination:
The troll in my imagination is a blue troll with a sword,spiky hair,long sharp claws and sharp paws.They live in icy caves.They eat raw food such as raw fish,raw steak,raw meat and raw mutton.They can survive from hiding places in caves and thats my imagination.
The mountain Troll has a slimy green body, prickly fat legs that look like hedgehogs. He resembles an ogre like the movie Shrek. The mountain Troll is more than 6 feet tall. He has a bold shiny head with a very small brain. The Troll has massive hands and feet for which he can't get any shoes. His clothes are like rags all dirty and scruffy. He holds an enormous stick which looks like a snakes head. For such a big body his brain is not that great.Sometime even he forgets what he is going to do next.
