The teeth are the the most hardest parts of your body.Enamel
ReplyDeleteis the hardest white outer part of the tooth this is made out of calcium and phosphate a rock hard mineral.
The incisors are the teeth at the very front of the mouth they are the sharpest, pointiest teeth to cut and rip of pieces of the food.
premolars are located behind the canine teeth have a flat surface to crush the food.
molars teeth are flater than the premolars to crush the food
into small pieces for your tounge to push it to the back of your throat also knowned as the
oesphagus
What is the job of the canine teeth Adam?
Delete4 different types of teeth
ReplyDeleteFun fact:
Babies-20 teeth
Adult-32 teeth
Incisors:
Our Incisors help us to cut the food we eat cut the food we eat.
If we didn’t had Incisors then we would not be able to cut the food we eat
And chock and die so our Incisors are very important.
We have 4 Incisors on top and bottom total 8.
Canines:
Our Canines are just next to our Incisors.
Our Canines help us to tear any hard food so that we can piece the food
And not swallow in a big piece.
We have 2 Canines on top and bottom total 4.
Pre molars
Our Pre molars help us to grind and make the food piece smaller.
If we didn’t have Premolars then it would be very much hard to swallow.
We have 4 Pre molars on top and bottom total 8.
Molars
Our molars help us make a peat of the food so that it is easy for swelling the food.
If we didn’t have molars then our neck would hurt.
We have 4 molars on top and bottom.
What about the wisdom teeth Tapasi?
Deletethe wisdom teeth dont tell much
Deletethey only come when you are 25
I forgot to write about our wisdom teeth
DeleteThe teeth we have and their functions
ReplyDeleteWe have incisors, canines, premolars and molars.
Incisors: First incisors help you cut off pieces of food, this is why a sheep has incisors to cut off grass. You have eight incisors (four at the top and four at the bottom) at the front of your mouth. The incisors have tiny spikes to cut off food like scissors and paper.
Canines: Next canines grip hold and tear the food, this is why a lion has canines to catch its fleeing prey. You have four canines located next to the incisors (two up, two down). The canines are the sharpest teeth in your mouth like daggers in a war.
Premolars: After, premolars do the job of the canines and molars (crushing and grinding). You have eight premolars .The premolars are located next to the canines .These teeth are the second largest teeth.
Molars: Now the molars crush and grind the food. You have eight molars (two per quadrant) that are next to the premolars and the molars are the biggest and the strongest teeth that you have. Your molars are the strongest like the lion, king of the jungle.
Things you will get when you are older
Adults have thirty two teeth.
Wisdom teeth: These teeth are behind the molars and are stronger. You will get these teeth when you are about eighteen+. Your wisdom teeth are the same size as your molars. Did you know that if you have wisdom teeth you are closest to an ape.
An excellent full answer Arush.
DeleteIn human adults there are 32 teeth and in children, there are 20 teeth. You first get baby (milk) teeth. Then they fall out and you get your adult teeth. You might get wisdom teeth but some people don’t.
ReplyDeleteBased on the shape and functions there are 4 different types of teeth: Incisors, Canines, Molars and Premolars. The Canines have a sharp biting surface and they are used for tearing and ripping meat. They are found in carnivores and omnivores such as lions and humans. The Incisors have a sharp biting surface and they are used in order to help
you to bite off and chew pieces of food. Incisors are found in carnivores, herbivores and omnivores such as wolves, horses and monkeys.
Molars have a large flat biting surface and they crush and grind your food into little pieces so that you can swallow. They are found in carnivores, herbivores and omnivores such as leopards, camels and bears. Premolars have a flat biting surface and they are used to tear and crush food. Premolars are found in carnivores, herbivores and omnivores such as sheep, cheetahs and foxes.
All animals have incisors that snip off pieces of food. Carnivores and omnivores have canines that stab into the prey. Herbivores, omnivores and carnivores have molars and premolars. Sheep don’t have canines (like other herbivores) but instead they have a diastema (which is the gap between the incisors and the premolars) where the canines are supposed to be. It is the space where the sheep store the food temporarily.
Do you know what type of teeth the wisdom teeth you get as an adult are Atharv?
DeleteNo
DeleteOur teeth help us chew and digest food, play an important role in speech, and help our health overall. And by brushing up on your dental health knowledge, you’ll be taking the first step toward giving your teeth the attention they deserve.
ReplyDeleteIncisors are the eight teeth in the front and centre of your mouth (four on top and four on bottom). These are the teeth that you use to take bites of your food. Incisors are usually the first teeth to erupt, at around 6 months of age for your first set of teeth, and between 6 and 8 years of age for your adult set
Your four canines are the next type of teeth to develop. These are your sharpest teeth and are used for ripping and tearing food apart. Primary canines generally appear between 16 and 20 months of age with the upper canines coming in just ahead of the lower canines.
Premolars, or bicuspids, are used for chewing and grinding food. You have four premolars on each side of your mouth, two on the upper and two on the lower jaw. The first premolars appear around age 10 and the second premolars arrive about a year later.
Primary Molars are also used for chewing and grinding food. These appear between 12 and 15 months of age. These molars, also known as deciduous molars, are replaced by the first and second permanent premolars (four upper and four lower).
Do you know the function of the wisdom teeth you get as an adult Eesha?
DeleteEesha that's really good
DeleteAll about teeth....
ReplyDeleteThe humans mouth has three main types of teeth.
Canines -which are used for tearing and rippping food. Incisors -which help you bite off and chew pieces of food . Molars -which help you crush and bring food . This makes it easier for us to swallow our food or we could choke. We also need our teeth to help us pronounce words properly.
Humans have two sets of teeth their in there life . We have milk (baby) teeth which are the first sets of teeth to grow . These grow around the age of six months old. By the time we are three years old we would have around 20 teeth . When the baby teeth fall out we get adult teeth . An adult teeth grows up two 32 permanent teeth. We must take good care our adult teeth because if they fall out they will not grow back and we will need fake ones. Mouthwash and brushing twice a day is good way to look after your teeth. You can also floss your teeth .
Sharks
Unlike human, sharks have most powerful jaws on the planet . Each type of shark has different shaped teeeth depending on their diet. A shark may grow and use over 20,000 teeth in a lifetime. Sharks have two sets of teeth on both jaws and they never run out of teeth. If one is lost another one spins forward from the rows of backup teeth. I wish we had teeth like sharks because if we did, we would never need to go to the dentist.

Enamel is harder than bone. But, if enable is broken it can’t be repaired. It is the bodyguard of the tooth.
Dentine is second tooth part. Dentine is like tissue paper. If you eat hot or cold food, your pulp will hurt.
Your nerves are blood vessels. There are 11 types of teeth.
Incisors are like scissors.
Canines are like forks.
Premolars are like nutcrackers.
Molars are for chewing.
Looking after your teeth:
Keeping your mouth healthy means looking after your teeth and gums. You can do this by
Eating healthy, cutting down on sugar, brushing your teeth twice a day, using a fluoride toothpaste, visiting a dentist regularly.
Taking care of your teeth can prevent decay which means that you are less likely to need fillings when you go to the dentist.
Tooth decay is caused when you eat or drink too much sugar. Each time you put sugary food in your mouth, it is broken down by the bacteria around the teeth to make acid. The acid attacks the tooth and removes the minerals, calcium and phosphate from the tooths’s surface causing tooth decay. Tooth decay can be slowed down or even prevented if you avoid eating sugar, except with main meals. When there is no sugar in the plaque, the calcium and phosphate in your saliva can re-enter the surface of the tooth and repair small amounts of damage. Fluoride helps to repair the tooth too.
Do you know when you get your wisdom teeth Pragna?
Deletewe get our wisdom teeth when we are 25
DeleteYes I do know now. We get our wisdom teeth in the last when we are between 17 and 25 generally.
DeleteTYPES OF TEETH The normal adult human has 32 teeth, 16 in the maxilla and mandible. The dentition is 20 teeth, the arch 10 in the top and bottom. There are four groups of teeth, differing in shape and their role: incisors, canines, premolars and molars.
ReplyDeleteThe incisors make up the front section of the dental arches. Under normal conditions, there is eight incisors, four upper and four lower, two on the right and left sides of the dental arch. There are central incisors (middle, first) and lateral (second). These teeth are for biting off bites of food. They are also important for the correct pronunciation, and are very important for cosmetic reasons. Their setting shapes the external features of the lips and affects the appearance of the face.
Canines are located in the dental arches behind the incisors, one on each side. Including incisors are a group of front teeth. They are used for biting off and tearing bites of food. Like the incisors are important for correct pronunciation and significantly influence the shape of the face, especially around the mouth angles.
Premolars are for canines, four in the maxilla and mandible. Distinguishes between upper and lower premolars, two on each side. They are used for grinding food and shaped outer contour cheeks. Premolars do not occur in the primary dentition.
Molars are the last teeth in the dental arches. Including przedtrzonowcami are a group of posterior teeth. In the human there are six teeth of the upper molars and six legs, three on each side of the arch. Participate in the grinding crushed foods and give the outline of cheeks. Molars are the largest teeth of man.
FUNCTIONS IN HUMAN
INCISORS - are used for slicing and cutting food,
CANINES - are used for tearing food drive,
PREMOLARS - allow crushing, crushing and chewing food, and
MOLARS - for crushing, splitting and chewing food.
HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR TEETH
You shood brush your teeth twice a day,eat less sweets, eat more healthy,go to dentist in three moths, buy a good toothpaste for your teeths and brush your teeth after dinner, lunch, breakfast and sweets

ReplyDeleteHumans have two sets Primary/baby teeth and then permanent teeth which develops in stages. Human teeth are different to animal teeth. The types of teeth are incisors, canines, premolars and molars.
There functions are:
Incisors:
Human incisors are very flattened but also they are really sharp for cutting pieces of food. Your front two incisors in the middle are the biggest teeth in your mouth. You have eight incisors teeth, four on the top of your mouth and four on the bottom. The incisor teeth are usually the first eight teeth to grow in your mouth when you are about six months old.
Canines:
Your four canines (two at the top and two at the bottom) are likely to be the second type of teeth to develop in your mouth. These are the sharpest teeth in your mouth and they are used for ripping and tearing hard bits of food apart. Primary canines normally grow when you’re between sixteen to twenty months old with your two upper canines coming in just ahead of your lower canines. Lower canines grow when you’re about nine years old and the upper canines grow when you are about eleven to twelve years old.
Premolars:
Premolars or bicuspids, are used to chew and grind food. In your mouth, you have four premolars on each of the sides in your mouth. Two of them are at the top and the other two are at the bottom. Your first premolars in your mouth grow when you’re about ten years old and your second premolars in the back of your mouth grow one year later.
Molars:
Primary molars are also known for chewing and grinding food. Your primary molars appear when you’re about twelve to fifteen months old. These molars are also known as deciduous molars and are replaced by the first and second permanent molars. The permanent molars do not replace, but come in behind primary teeth. The first molars grow when you are about six years old while the second molars grow when you are eleven to thirteen years old.

How many teeth do you have when you are a baby and how many as an adult?
Delete"Incisors are the four teeth in the .Front bottom jaw and upper jaw and they are sharp.Chisel shaped for cutting food."
ReplyDelete"Canines are also called cuspisds, these teeth are shaped like points and are used for tearing food."
"Molars are the last teeth towards the back of your mouth .Molars are much bigger than premolars and have a bigger, flatter chewing surfaces because their job is to chew and grind the food into smaller pieces."
"Premolars can be considered as transitional teeth during chewing or mastication .They have propties of both the anterior canines and posterior molars and so food transfered from the canines to the premolars and finally to the molars for grinding ,instead of directly from the canines to the molars
How many of each type of tooth do you have Sreh?

We have different types of deciduous teeth: incisors, canines, first molars, and second molars. Each tooth has four types of surfaces. They are the inner surface, outer surface, chewing surface and adjacent surface. These different types of teeth have various functions:
ReplyDeleteThe incisors at the front of the mouth have a sharp biting surface and are used for cutting or shearing food into small chewable pieces. There are eight incisors.
Next are the canines. They are situated at the 'corners' of the dental arches. They have a sharp, pointed biting surface. Their function is to grip and tear food. There are four canine teeth.
After the canines there are the premolars. Unlike the incisors and canines, have a flat biting surface. Their function is to tear and crush food. They are unique to the permanent dentition which has eight premolars.
Finally there are the molars. The largest of the teeth. They have a large flat biting surface. The function of the molars is to chew, crush and grind food. There are eight molars in the primary dentition and twelve in the permanent dentition.
Taking care of our teeth prevents tooth decay. You can take care of your teeth by: brushing twice a day, eating the right foods (not too many sugary ones), visiting the dentist regularly.
